VRONTOU'S AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE

The Agricultural Cooperative SPEKO Vrondous numbers about 400 members, active producers.

Activities:

• Production - sale of tobacco leaves of variety S53 (Katerini)
• Sale of agricultural supplies to the members of the cooperative, as well as to non-cooperative producers, for all the crops in the Vrontous region (tobacco, grapes, olives, cereals, pomegranates, kiwis, horticulture)
• Certification of Tobacco Producers with the Agro Integrated Management System 2.1 and 2.2 from 2007
• Certification of Graphene Cooperative Members with Global Gap since 2009
• Information - training of the members of the cooperative for new crops, innovations in agricultural production, participation in innovative crop research programs (eg stevia - experimental parcel participation in the years 2007-2008-2009 DIVTOB Program)
